Summary of Professional Activities:
Golmehr Shamlou Rezaei is a board-certified psychiatrist. She began her academic studies in Medicine at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and later continued her specialization in Psychiatry in Yazd. Since 2012, she has been receiving psychotherapy training at Ibn Sina Hospital in Mashhad, and since 2014 she has been a student at the Tehran Center for Psychoanalysis, where she has continued her psychoanalytic training to the present day.
She is also active as an instructor in the training courses of the Tehran Center for Psychoanalytic Studies. To date, she has completed and published the Persian translation of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy by Deborah L. Cabaniss, as well as the translation of Psychodynamic Formulation by Deborah L. Cabaniss. She has also collaborated in the translation of Psychodynamic Psychiatry by Glen O. Gabbard based on DSM-5.
